Can Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller Face Any Direction and Function Properly

Question:
Does the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller have to be mounted in line with direction of travel? My 2019 Lexus LX 570 7 pin connector is under the bumper right side pointing down and in toward trailer. I was on manufacture web site and the LX 570 is not listed under their Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Proportional

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 can be mounted in any direction and it will still work flawlessly. It was tested by the manufacturer with a pickup using an in-bed trailer connector which is perpendicular to the direction of travel. So it will work great installed in your 2016 Lexus LX 570.
