Question:
Hi! I wanted to ask a question about Item # 306-X7261. I Currently have a 1 1/4 bike rack I want to attach to my car but in the future I wanted to connect a 2 motorcycle trailer. I wanted to know if the removable hitch receiver was interchangeable between the two models. Like could I buy the 1 1/4 now and later buy the 2 or is that not the best way to go about it? I live in a city so parking is always very tight and if I leave the bike rack on i would like to keep it as close to the car as possible so I would be ok with buying the two hitch receivers for the bracket if that was possible just to minimize adapters and because the 2 motorcycle trailer would rarely be used. That or if there was a good sleeve adapter/reducer with some sort of anti sway built in thatd be nice. just something that would minimize how much the rack extends form the vehicle. Thank you.

The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receivers like part # 306-X7261 are only offered with the 2" trailer hitch opening. That said, you can purchase a 1-1/4" trailer hitch opening separately using the EcoHitch Stealth Hitch 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter part # EH54FR. This option will give you the shortest overall length in regards to using a 2" to 1-1/4" adapter.
It is not available with the 1-1/4" trailer hitch opening only.
