To mount a 5th wheel hitch using industry standard base rails in the 2019 Ram 1500 short bed you'll want to use the Reese # RP56018-53, which are a custom installation base rail kit for this truck. This kit will cut down on drilling and installation time and provides you with base rails to install your 5th wheel hitch.
