Question:

The specs of the Stallion 48 Aluminum Ramps #288-07501 say that the maximum trailer height should be no more than 12 inches. I have a dovetail down at the rear of my trailer but the height is approx 15 inches from ground to deck. I believe that these will work just fine with the dovetail feature considered but I would like to hear an experts opinion. What do yall think? Thank you in advance for your reply.

I have another option for you, but due to the length of the ramp you would not want to use the Aluminum Car Hauler Ramp Set - 48" x 14-1/2" # 288-07501 any higher than 12" as it could cause the ramp to not be secure and will be a pretty steep angle.

Instead I recommend the Aluminum Car Hauler Ramp Set - 72" x 14-1/2" # 288-07503 which is designed for a maximum loading height of 16" which is prefect for your trailer that is 15" from the ground.

@Milton The part number for that particular set of ramps was changed to # FHG23ZR, which is why the link Sam original had on this page is now dead. If you click on the # FHG23ZR link instead you'll be able to get the ramps.
