Replacement Trailer Hitch for 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

Question:

I have a 2002 Silverado 2500hd with 8 bed. I need to replace hitch but can’t find right bolt pattern. Mine is 6 1/2 from front bolt on hitch to middle bolt then 5 1/2 from middle to back bolt

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15312 is what I recommend as a replacement for the factory trailer hitch on a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. In regards to the bolt hole spacing, this will be a different for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver as it does not use all of the same attachment points as the factory trailer hitch but it is still a bolt-on option nonetheless.

I’m trying to figure out what year reciever hitch will fit on my 06 2500 hd ... have someone wanting to sell me a 2013 one for $80 but don’t know if it will fit

It doesn't look like the same hitches for the 2013 Silverado fit your 2006 model. If you can obtain the specific hitch model from the seller I would be happy to verify this. In the meantime I've linked our full selection of trailer hitches that are confirmed to fit your 2006 Chevy Silverado below.
