Opening Trunk on 2011 Kia Forte Using The Hollywood Racks Destination
Updated 01/22/2021 | Published 01/21/2021 >
Question:
Hi, I have a 2011 Kia Forte with a 1 1/4 inch hitch. If I had this 2 bike rack on in its folded up position, would I be able to open my trunk? Thanks

On average, the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack Item # HLY94FR has anywhere between 3.5" to 4.5" of clearance from the hatch/rear bumper of most vehicles. This all depends on how exposed your hitch receiver is from the rear of your 2011 Kia Forte. A measurement from the trunk to the end of your bumper can give a better idea of how much total distance there will be to the closest point of the rack.
I have added a couple of review videos below showing the use of the rack on various applications, and the measurements that our team has gotten from using the rack.
