Are the wiring components included in part #RM-9243-1 equivalent to those in part #RM-15267 ... and do these fit my 2015 Mini Cooper Base convertible? Thank you.

The RoadMaster Falcon 2 and Falcon All-Terrain Combo Towing Kit # RM-9243-1 was designed as a combo kit to be purchased along with Roadmaster Falcon Towbars like # RM-520. The Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 is a more 'universal' kit that focuses on giving you a 7-wire to 6-wire harness no matter what tow bar you have. The main difference is the Falcon Kit # RM-9243-1 has 8,000 lb capacity safety cables and extra tow bar accessories, while the Diode Kit # RM-15267 has just the basic wiring components.

Both have the same wiring components and fit your 2015 Mini Cooper Base Convertible. If I had to choose between the two, I prefer the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. Especially if I do not have a Roadmaster Falcon Tow Bar and I do not need the extra accessories. We already installed this wiring kit on a 2016 Mini Cooper. You can see in the video I attached below how that was a simple and easy process.
