Hi, I have a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited with dual exhaust. I am looking at purchasing the cargo carrier: 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2 Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs Item # e98874 I am wondering if i need to worry about any heat related issues with this carrier. I am also looking to add Curt Cargo Bag for Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier - Waterproof - 15 Cu Ft Item # C18211 as well, same question do i need to worry about this melting? I have melted a cooler in the past with a different basket due to it being to close to the exhaust and dont want to have any issues like that again. I appreciate the help and support and look forward to hearing back with your answers. :

The etrailer carrier part # e98874 is made from steel and is powdercoated so it's not going to have any issues with heat from exhaust. The carrier has 2 inches of rise built into the shank too so it most likely would carry the bag you mentioned part # C18211 high enough that the exhaust would not be an issue for that as well.
