Question:

I want to purchase the Base Plate kit for my 2011 Ford F150 Lariat with the 5.0L V8. This combination does not appear in your Compatibility List. Will the RM-524431-5 model work in this situation? Please advise.

According to Roadmaster, their # RM-524431-5 base plate kit only works on Lariat models with the 6.2L engine. For your 5.0 equipped Lariat, you'd want to use the # 495-3A base plate kit. This base plate kit is compatible with hitch mounted (not coupler mounted) Roadmaster tow bars like the # RM-576 Sterling Tow Bar.
