Will the Submersible, Under 80 Inch LED Trailer Light Kit Work with a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question:
i have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. i am pulling a 5x7 utility trailer with standard, not LED bulbs. the reason i ask will they work for me is because i have a good friend that has the same year and model Jeep and he was having an issue with a few things and led him to return to the standard lights. the things is was doing was were: 1. the green wire had constant power from the Jeep and would make the right light stay on, thats it. the other side worked ok though. 2. it would not work completely on 3 different other trucks 94 Ram and 04 Expedition that definably work on other trailers. I really like the quality product LED light you carry and want them on my trailer badly. can you set me up with instructions and advice to make your product work on my trailer? thank you and look forward to purchasing your product and expert advice.

This sounds like a ground problem on the trailer and not the vehicle. A weak or bad ground connection can cause all sorts of strange problems and what you are describing is actually common with any lights if there is a ground issue. The light kit # TLL9RK will work fine with your Jeep.
Make sure that ground wires for the lights are attached to clean and corrosion free bare metal surfaces. Do the same with the main trailer connector ground.
If you have a tilt trailer, folding tongue, or an aluminum frame then you will need to run a jumper wire from the light ground wires to the main trailer connector ground.
