Suspension Enhancement For A Tandem Axle Travel Trailer With 3500lb Axles

Question:
I have a travel trailer that has twin 3500lbs axles and would like to upgrade the equalizer. I am looking at the Dexter K71-652-00 since I saw in another question that it fits the Dexter 13-10 equalizer. The problem I see is that I have 7000lbs of axle and the K71-652-00 is only rated for 6000lbs of axles unless I am reading it wrong. Thanks

I contacted Dexter to confirm that the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit - Double-Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 6,000 lbs Item # K71-652-00 are compatible with your tandem 3500lb axles. The 6000lb rating is a rating per axle not both axle weight ratings combined.
