For your 2021 Toyota Tacoma the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED24FR would be an excellent option and only requires the install harness part # RED99FR which plugs in under the dash.
This gives you a brake controller that senses how hard you are applying the truck brakes and applies a proportional amount of trailer brakes and only requires mounting a small knob on the dash instead of a bigger bulky traditional controller.
