Is Trimming of Bumper Required for the Stealth Hitch On a 2021 Volvo XC60

Does a segment of the rear bumper guard need to be removed cut out to mount and use this hitch on my XC 60. One hitch company told me a section of bumper guard needed be removed to mount a hitch on my car.

Yes, a very small unseen part of the rear bumper fascia on a 2021 Volvo XC60 must be trimmed to install the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # SH87FRT. I have attached below what this required trimming looks like.
