Im looking for a manual cable winch for my open car trailer. The trailer is an aluminum Trailex CT-7031 open car hauler. Max rolling weight of trailer is 3000 lb. The ramps are approx 8 long and attach about 1.5 off the ground. Would the DL14830 be the right winch to select?

Yes the Dutton Lainson 2 speed winch part # DL14830 would be a really great option for your Trailex car hauler. It has more than enough capacity so it will be easy to crank and since it's a 2 speed winch it gives you ability to crank faster when you don't need quite as much leverage or slower when you need more pull strength.
