Question:

I have a 2020 grand desighn with tandem 7 k axils with zodiac disc breaks, I’m interested in purchasing your Roadmaster comfort ride spring shock kit, I do have dexter 3in axils, is it possible to go with the 8k kit with the 7k axils I belive the kit I want is the 2470- 2580 , my unit is heavy and getting some spring sag, thank you

I have another option but the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks # RM-2470-2580 you were looking at will not work on your 2020 Grand Design Solitude W/ Tandem 7k Dexter 3" axles as this kit is designed for 3-1/2" axles.

Instead I recommend the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570 which is designed for tandem 7k 3" axles. This kit will include new leaf springs and center box hangers to replace your current springs and equalizers, and the heavy duty shocks will work to prevent bouncing, road vibrations, and trailer sway by limiting the lateral movement of the suspension.

The # RM-2460-2570 will work great for your setup, and the 8k system # RM-2470-2580 would actually hinder the performace of the suspension as it would be stiffer not allowing the suspension to do its job. I recommend using the correct system for your 7k axles and making sure to stay at or under the GVWR of your trailer.
