How Do you Mount the Complete Propane Tank Holder Mounting Kit to the Trailer Tongue

Question:

The assembly of the product and mounting of the propane tanks seems straight forward, but how does this unit mount to its ultimate base? Can you describe the intended mounting of the tank pan to another structure, such as a trailer tongue? Does this product come with any pieces for this type of mounting? Or recommendations for best way to mount this product on a trailer tongue? thank you

Yes it is super simple! The Complete Propane Tank Holder Mounting Kit for 20-lb Tanks part # 37220BL is secured to the tongue of the trailer using self tapping screws. #14 self tappers have always worked out really well and they will go into the three slotted holes designed in the base for mounting to the tongue. Any of the three can be used it just depends on where they align on your trailers tongue. The self tappers can be sourced at your local hardware store.
