i have a ford F150 2020 with a v8 10 speed transmission why does it say i should not install a transmission cooler

It is possible to install an auxiliary transmission cooler on a 2020 Ford F-150 with 10R80 Transmission. That said, the factory transmission cooler isn't where it normally would be, in front of the radiator. It's under the actual transmission so if you could find a way to splice into the lines here and run them to the front then you could install one like the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler part # D13504.

Hi Conner - I have a 2020 Lincoln navigator extended length and when going over hills with our family The temperature gets up to 250. I know this is hot but some reviews say the new temperatures of the 10r80 transmission can get up this high, but it was shifting weird when it was kicking down. The transmission was definitely not happy. What options do I have? Thanks. Dan.
