Question:

I have used this air braking system on a car I recently sold. I would like to know if you can provide a kit with only the attachments to the car. I still have the cylinder and pedal bracket. and the car to motor home hose. I would need the breakaway system and the cylinder to floor attachment. Pleas advise.

Expert Reply:

Assuming you're speaking of the Roadmaster BrakeMaster # RM-9160 braking system, to attach the cylinder to the seat mounting bolts, you'll need part # RM-88296. Keep in mind, this does NOT include the bracket to attach the arm to the cylinder or the arm itself.

For the break away kit and necessary hardware and lines to join the break away kit to the cylinder, you'll need the 2nd vehicle kit, part # RM-98160. You'll also need the # RM-156-25 charge line kit. Assuming that you have the control box and everything else, this is all you should need for the brake system.

If you're using a diode taillight system like # RM-15267, you'll also need the # RM-88400 relay to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.
