Question:
Good morning and how are you? I am looking into purchasing Item # KH11812 for a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 2.4 Multi Air engine. What is the difficulty and the location on where I can put this? I know it goes in the engine block. What Im wondering is it under the hood easy to see or do I need to under the vehicle up and over some things? Thanks and enjoy your day!

According to Kat's heaters, the hole that the # KH11812 cartridge installs into is located on the left front of the engine block. Here's their recommended installation procedure:
• Clean cartridge hole of all debris. Use compressed air.
• Coat hole and cartridge with G-624 silicone grease to ensure heat transfer and seal hole from water.
• Attach cord to heater.
• Install heater into the hole. Rotate the clip on the cord to the proper position to secure the
heater and cord to the engine block.
• Route the cord through the grille, using cable ties to prevent the cord from getting in contact
with any hot or moving parts.
