Where Does Kat's Heater Install on 2021 GMC Canyon with 3.6 Liter

Question:

How does the kh11811 engine block heater install? Is it a dry sump install, does the coolant have to be drained like on a soft plug heater. Where is the install located on a 2021 3.6 liter gmc canyon? If done on a lift, how long can I expect to take to install? Thanks

The Kat's Heater part # KH11811 that you referenced installs in a cartridge hole on the side of the block. Because of that there is no coolant to drain or anything else. The cartridge hole you'll need to use is the one on the passenger side of the block all the way back. It wouldn't take more than a 1/2 hour to complete.
