What do I Need to Install a Brake Controller on my 2020 Land Rover Discovery

Question:

Can the Curt C51170 be installed on a 2020 Land Rover Discovery? If so, are there special adapters?

The Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller part # C51170 can be installed on your 2020 Land Rover Discovery. You will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7 and the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit part # 119250KIT.

This will give you the 4-way flat you need to start then allow you to add on the 7-way connector needed to allow for the brake signal wire. The ETBC7 kit also has the wiring needed to connect the controller to the 7-way socket as well as giving you 12 volt power at the rear of the vehicle.

I have included some videos for examples of how these are installed.
