Hitch Recommendation for 2016 Forest River Shamrock for Carrying 4 Bike Rack

Question:

I have a 2016 Forest River Shamrock 23ikss. I want to install a 2 inch hitch on the rear of the camper. I do not want to install the hitch in the bumper. The bumper is not strong enough. I have seen a hitch drilled and bolted to the frame. What do you recommend. I am not going to tow with the hitch only use a bike rack for 4 bikes. What is your recommendation? Thank you in advance.

The best hitch solution we have for the rear of your 2016 Forest River Shamrock 23IKSS that attaches to the trailer frame is the Curt # 13703 as it fits the widest frame width range and also fits all styles of frames.

Then for a 4 bike rack that is RV approved we have the Swagman XP part # S64940 which would work great as well. Not all bike racks can handle the rougher ride quality at the rear of an RV but this rack was designed for it.
