Is this all metal? I had a plastic one purchased at a local store and it broke going through a car wash.

The Chevy Bow Tie trailer hitch cover # PC002207 is all metal so none of it is plastic and should hold up much better than any plastic hitch cover. To secure the hitch cover and deter theft I recommend a locking hitch pin # e98880.
