Timbren Axle Less Kit for Trailer that Weighs 3,045 lbs
Question:
Hi, I have a home made camper trailer that weighs 3045lbs. when fully loaded with all my gear. I bought from etrailer a 3500lb axel brakes and hubs, but used my own leaf springs new rubicon express 4 lift jeep springs Turns out the springs arent enough to support the weight...My misfortune... I,mlooking at 2 options and would like your advise on which of these would work best for my application? ASR35HDS05 and TASR5200S03 I am worried that the 3500lb unit might be pushing the limits and the 5200lb unit might be too stiff? What would you suggest?

Since your trailer weighs 3,045 lbs when loaded the 3,500 lb Timbren Axle Less kit part # ASR35HDS05 would be perfect unless you though you were going to eventually loaded down beyond 3,500 lbs. Then you'd want the # TASR5200S03 which has the higher 5,200 lb capacity. If you end up with too high of a capacity your ride quality might be a bit rougher.
