Question:
I am looking for a brake controller. I have a p3 that is old and acting up. I haul a 13,000lb skid steer/plus trailer. What controller do you recommend?

I recommend upgrading to the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional # RED44FR to replace your old Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. The Redarc Tow Pro Elite provides proportional braking like the Prodigy P3 and installs out of the way to give you a clean looking truck cab and no more knee-knocker brake controller. This unit also offers two types of control, in traditional brake controller mode where the unit provides proportional control to the trailer brakes and a user controlled mode that gives you total control; this will likely be helpful navigating a trailer with a heavy skid steer on construction sites with unpaved roads.
I've linked a short review video of this controller for you to check out, but it's one of our favorite controllers here and is highly reviewed by our customers. If you can tell me what your tow vehicle is I can help you locate a plug and play adapter to make installation a breeze for this unit.
