Question:
On a 2012 Jeep JK, is it possible there could be more than one factory harness wire that lights up the tester when the brake pedal is pushed. My ABS and Traction Control warnings are on and I have the red controller wire connected to the wire that only sends power while the brakes are applied white wire with orange stripe.

It's sounds as if you're using the wrong wire. The wire for the cold side of the stop lamp switch circuit is white with a brown stripe, so that's the wire you'll want to have the red brake controller wire tapped into.
Having the ABS and Traction Control warnings lit is a common occurrence when the wrong stop lamp switch wire is used. I've linked you to an installation video that you might find helpful. The brake switch connection is shown at the 16:50 mark in the video.
