Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2015 Honda Odyssey

Question:

I am looking for the proper towing base plate for my 2015 Honda Odyssey that I will be towing behind motorhome. Which one is a direct fit? Thanks for your help.

I have a solution for you, but according to my research the 2015 Honda Odyssey cannot be flat towed behind a motorhome, so there aren't any base plates that will be a confirmed fit. Instead, you will need to tow your Odyssey on a tow dolly with 2 wheels off the ground.

I recommend using the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly w/ Disc Brakes - Tilt Bed Frame - 4,800 lbs - Wide Tread # DM9713093, which can tow vehicles with curb weighs of up to 4800-lbs; it looks like your Odyssey weighs between 4300-lbs and 4650-lbs, so this will work well for you. This tow dolly has disc brakes to provide additional stopping power and since it has an EZ latch surge coupler, there is no need for a brake controller in your RV. This dolly also comes with adjustable ratchet straps, so you won't need any additional parts to tow your vehicle.
