Troubleshooting Trailer Running Lamp Circuit on 2015 Ford Expedition
Question:
I have a 2015 Ford Expedition. Trailer brake lights and turn signals work but no running lights. Have owners manual but not clear on what fuse/relay it is. Appreciate any help.

The trailer running lamp circuit is protected by a 25A fuse in location 28 and a relay in position 24. Check and replace as necessary, but before plugging the trailer back in, you'll need to find and repair the short in the running lamp circuit on the trailer, or you'll continue to blow fuses.
Begin at the trailer connector, and trace that circuit (typically a brown wire) back from the connector to the lamps. Look for pinched wires, loose connections or cracked/worn wire insulation. Pay careful attention where the wires pass through the frame members, as this is a frequent failure point.
I'll link you to a help article that will help you through the troubleshooting process.

Good morning. We have the opposite problem, our running lights are functioning but the turn signals and brakes don't work. We just got the truck back from ford, they have taken it apart to try and fix a problem with no heat no AC. They are still waiting on a part but we're leaving on vacation tomorrow can you help? Ford took the car apart seats out carpet out and replaced everything now our turn signals don't work on the trailer.
