A-Frame Jack for Camper With Low Height

Question:
total travel of electric jack. Some models you offer describe a 28 1/2 inch total travel another offered is 22 inches. Another measurement is 9 inches retracted. So is this the measurement from the mounting plate? In other words the measurement form the top of the A frame? My trailer is a 10 year old starcraft....much lower to the ground than current stuff being sold. the measurement from the top of my A frame to the ground when everything is level is about 17 inches.

The dimensions that are important for an A-frame jack are the retracted height and extended height, which tells you what the travel is. It's pretty simple, but the different terms can be confusing.
Travel is just the extended height minus the retracted height, and these heights are measured from the bottom of the mounting point to the bottom of the foot. For example, for your low 17 inch measurement from the top of the A-frame to the ground I recommend the Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack # UF38-944017.
The jack measures just 9-1/4 inches when retracted, but can extend up to 27-1/4 inches, which gives it 18 inches of total travel. This jack is perfect for you due to it's low retracted measurement but will allow plenty of lift.
