Question:
Hi - I have a 2020 Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser 23RSS I want to replace the OEM scissor jacks with stronger jacks and looking at your Ultra-fab 30inch 6500lb jacks Would love your advice on that, plus a question regarding the mounting angle - Ive seen several people write that angling the jacks 45 degrees instead of the current parallel to front and rear alignment would add more stability? Do you have an opinion? Thanks

Great question let me help you out, I will link the information and parts below for you:
**Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks - 30" Lift - 6,500 lbs - Qty 2 # UF48-979031.
*JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit for Travel Trailers # LC191025.
Yes they can work on your travel trailer, they only need 4-3/4 inches of height and 33-1/2 inches width to be mounted and travel up to 30 inches to stabilize your unit.
These jacks are designed to stabilize a portion of your trailer weight. They have multiple holes on their mounting plate to ensure you get the right bolt on fit or you can weld them on.
To answer your question about the mounting angle I highly recommend not doing that. These units are designed to work in a certain way and absorb energy from certain angles and if you change that it will hinder them.
If you are worried about needing more stabilizer action I recommend getting the JT strong arm kit I have linked above.
This kit will minimize chassis movement in your travel trailer.
Attach the telescoping tubes to your jacks and position them in place to brace your trailer frame. Includes 4 stabilizers for use at front of camper and 2 for the rear.
