Question:
The info for this hitch says it will NOT fit my truck if it has a factory installed hitch. I bought my truck used and dont know whether the hitch on it was factory or user installed. How can I tell? The one now on my truck is Very rusted and i want to replace it for peace of mind with the Curt 13323. My truck is a 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. Not an X runner I have ordered from Etrailer before and have always been very pleased with your people, products, and service.

You'll have to get underneath the rear of the truck and look at how the hitch is attached to the rear truck frame. If it's bolted to the frame then it's aftermarket and a hitch like the Draw Tite # 75236 could fit and work great. If instead it's welded to the rear bumper beam or frame it would be an OEM hitch.
