Question:

We have a Radcity 4 top tube and a Radcity 3 step thru and a 2inch class 3 hitch on a Subaru Forester. Looks like the choice is between the Thule XT and the Hollywood. What makes the Thule worth $ more? Thoughts on which is better for two geezers driving between the coasts? Thanks,

The Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack part # TH903202 is a great option for e-bikes and so is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack part # HLY74FR. That said, there are some features on the EasyFold that you don't get with the Sport Rider which are game changers for those who either struggle with heavy lifting or those who are just looking for more convivence. This of course is the integrated ramps on the EasyFold which make loading the heavy bikes much easier. The EasyFold also has wheels on the bottom of the platform to help with moving the rack to and from the vehicle. That is the main difference between the two options.
