Question:
Will this hitch # 12343 support and carry a Hoveround Power Chair and the lift that holds it? I tried another hitch drawtite that did not work out.I saw that Your hitch being made different with more support and more tongue weight allowance looks like it would work OK. Please give me any suggestions you have on this matter also.I hope to be sure it will work before I order it. Thanks !!

To use the Hoverlift on your 2009 Toyota Camry LE to haul the Hoveround Power Chair it does require to use a Class II or Class III hitch. All of the hitches that are available for your 2009 Toyota Camry LE are a Class II 1-1/4 inch hitch. The Draw-Tite # 36416 and Hidden Hitch # 90152 (no longer available) have a tongue weight capacity of 300 lbs. The Curt Class II 1-1/4 Inch hitch, part # 12343, has a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs.
I looked up the weight of the Hoverlift and it was 80 lbs. That will leave you 220 lbs if you used the Draw-Tite or Hidden Hitch and 270 lbs if you used the Curt hitch. If the weight of your Hoveround is more than 220 lbs (including batteries) then it would not work on the Draw-Tite or Hidden Hitch.
If your model of Hoveround weighs under 270 lbs (including batteries) then you will be able to use the Hoveround on the Hoverlift on the Curt Hitch # 12343 on your Camry. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Curt hitch and a link to a video of the hitch being installed on a 2009 Camry.
I looked up the different Hoveround Power Chairs available and it showed 6 models and 4 of them weighed under 270 lbs and 2 of them were over. I would recommend to check the weight of your Hoveround including the batteries to see if the Curt hitch will work for you.
