Diameter Of The Loop On Each End Of The Redline 8 inch Lanyard Part # 2608
Updated 09/23/2020 | Published 09/21/2020 >
Question:
Could you tell me what the diameter of the loops is? On a BigTex trailer the lanyard is held in place on one end by a 5/8ths inch bolt so a small loop will not work. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The 8" Long Lanyard # 2608 has two loops, one on each side. The loops measure 1/2 inch long 1/4 inch wide. Go to your local hardware store and grab a bolt/self tapping screw that the threaded portion falls within the dimensions of the loop. The head of the bolt/screw should be bigger than the loop just to prevent it from slipping off. You want to have the majority if not all the loop underneath the head of the hardware you use.
If you want to learn more about the Lanyard, I've included a video with more info!
