Question:
Which size bearing buddy do I need for 2013 karavan seadoo trailer
asked by: Leanne
Expert Reply:
The bearing size is needed to confirm the fit of the bearing buddy needed. There are some Karavan trailers that use sealed bearings that cannot use Bearing Buddy grease protectors, but those specific bearings don't need them because they are maintenance free and sealed to keep water out.
If you pull a hub, you will find the bearings and if you have standard tapered bearings, the number of the bearing will be printed on the hub face when you clean the grease off that portion. If you have tapered bearings and can give me the outer bearing number, I can help you with the correct Bearing Buddy fit. If you can't find that bearing number you can use a digital caliper like # PTW80157 to get the inside diameter of the grease cap location to determine fit.
