Question:
Im looking at upgrading my brakes on my triple axle 5th wheel. Id like to know whats the difference between these two parts HSE7K-TR1SO and HSE7K-TR1? Also, what else do I need to order besides the kit?

Expert Reply:
The difference between these two kits is that the # HSE7K-TR1 comes with a complete hub and rotor that replaces your existing hub, where the # HSE7K-TR1SO is only the rotor which slips over your existing hubs. The hub that is included with the # HSE7K-TR1 requires that your current hubs use inner bearing # 25580 and outer bearing # 14125A, so if your hubs have different bearings using the rotor only kit would be the best option. You will want to confirm that you've already got idler hubs on your trailer to determine which set will work best for you.
Both of these kits come with all of the brake lines and hardware you would need in order to complete installation, and a brake actuator that is compatible with the disc brakes in this kit. I've also linked an installation video of this kit for you to refer to if you need any assistance with the installation.
