Is Lippert LC674283 Fabric Awning Light Kit Flexible Plastic

Question:

I have a Solera awning on my 2017 Gulfstream travel trailer. The existing lights are enclosed in a rigid black plastic, which has buckled in three places. I understand that the LC674283 is a flexible black plastic. Is this true.

The plastic the # LC674283 light kit is constructed of is indeed flexible, as you can see in the photo on the linked product description page which shows the lamp kit coiled up. I'll also link you to a product description video featuring the lamp kit.
