Question:

I would like to get a hitch that can accept 2” square slot for a 1 7/8 ball and I need it to be about 16 off the ground for the boat trailer I am going to tow. What would be the best tow hitch wiring harness best for this Toyota Sienna 2014?

It sounds like you're looking for a 2" hitch and a ball mount that raises a 1-7/8 ball 16" off the ground with a wiring harness. We have a combination that will work well for hooking up your trailer to your 2014 Toyota Sienna.

First up: the hitch. We actually have an etrailer hitch designed for the 2014 Sienna. It's the Class III, 2" hitch, part # e98853. It has a maximum tongue weight of 525 pounds and trailer weight of 3500 pounds, so it should be able to carry your boat trailer with no problem. It provides a ground clearance of 11-3/4". I've linked to a video of the installation on the 2014 Sienna.

Next, we have the ball mount. To get your 16" clearance, I recommend the Draw-Tite Ball Mount, part # 40332. It has a 5" rise that will get you up to 16-3/4". I've included a link to a review of this ball mount as well.

Third is the hitch ball. If you don't already have this, I recommend the Curt Hitch Ball, part # C48810. It has the shank length and diameter needed to fit the Draw-Tite ball mount.

Finally, we need to get your Sienna wired for towing. For this, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Harness, part # 118498. This one stands above the other options due to it isolating the trailer wiring from the vehicle's, and being able to be hidden in the passenger-side access panel rather than hanging out in the open. I've included a video of this harness compared to the Curt option, part # C56106.
