Does BrakeBuddy Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Kit Wire to 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of Tow Vehicle

Question:
Hi, I got this charge kit for my 2017 jk unlimited .Checked rv for 12v the one upper right was the one coming from coach.But getting a 14.6 reading on meter showing my coach pin already is charging when running coach. My concern or question is will this bb54fr kit work because it has a battery charger built in or would I need different kit like an isolator to prevent overcharge. Or does this kit actually work like that . Thanks all products have bin great for jeep so far hopefully I will be towing soon. Thanks again .

The # BB54FR that you referenced would work great in the setup you mentioned. It will connect to the 12 volt accessory circuit of your 7-way and will keep your battery topped off. The 14.6 volts you mentioned would not be an issue either.
