Does the Autowbrake Require Re-Calibration When Power is Removed?
Updated 08/31/2020 | Published 08/27/2020 >
Question:
I have a vehicle that has a 7-pin connector and a trailer with brakes and batteries RV. When I park the trailer, I cut the power in order to save the batteries from something in the RV fully draining them. Will I have to recalibrate the Autowbrake after turning the power back on?

Great News! The Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller part # 3430001 does not require a reset if it loses power. It is designed to store the settings until the next use of the trailer and will be at the same settings as when you disconnected. It is however very easy to change the settings on the controller if you switch vehicles or trailer loads.
Check out the video my buddy Shane did on it to see some more details on the system.
