Does The Bulldog Powered-Drive Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 3,500 lbs Ground Itself
Updated 08/17/2020 | Published 08/12/2020 >
Question:
The Jack only comes with 1 wire. I presume that is the positive wire. Our caravan does not have Perth attached to it so can I add an earth to the power jack and if so how

Expert Reply:
Yes you are correct, the one wire is a power wire. As far as a ground, as long as the jack is securely mounted to the frame of the trailer it acts as it's own ground. The jack has its own circuit breaker so if there was a short or power issue you would have to use the the manual crank until the power issue has been corrected.
