Will this hitch work on my 05 Mazda Tribute

The Curt # E-3S is meant to install on a full or medium size truck step bumper, and wouldn't work on your Tribute.
We do offer custom designed hitches meant to fit your vehicle, and that's what I'd recommend you use. If your Tribute already has the factory 1-1/4 inch hitch on it, use Curt # C13651. If it does NOT have the factory 1-1/4 inch hitch on it, use # 13650.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing, you'll also need a wiring harness like # 118426, a ball mount like # AMSC2 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
