Hi, for this rack set up to work, what is the optimal size length , width truck bed needed to accommodate two road bikes? Thanks

The Thule Insta-Gater Pro Truck Bed Bike Racks part # TH93VR is a great choice to carry a bike in a truck bed. It is also possible to use more than one to carry multiple bikes but this would come down to the bikes being carried so it's not really something I can advise on. That said, you should not have much of an issue using two on any standard 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, or 1 ton pickup. This should be able to be determine by simply standing the bikes up in the truck bed like how they would sit with the carrier installed.
