Which Trailer Wiring Harness for 2014 Honda Accord LX with LED Taillights
Updated 07/23/2020 | Published 07/22/2020 >
Question:
I have a 2014 Honda Accord LX and have installed the Curt wiring harness 5601. My vehicle DOES NOT have LED tail lights, so I figured this was the correct harness... The trailer lights in the rear do not light up. Only the side marker lights do. I have checked and re-checked all connections with no solution... I HAVE installed aftermarket LED headlights in the vehicle and am now suspecting these aftermarket headlamps are the reason the trailer lights are not working.... HELP... Thanks!

The issue is the bulb style you have in your 2014 Honda Accord LX. Since you have LED taillights the correct kit you should have went with was the part # C56173 which was designed specifically for vehicles with LED taillights.
