Can Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller be Used on Vehicle with 4-Way Trailer Connector

Question:

I have a flat 4 plug. Is this compatible with a flat 4? Or will I have to install a 7 pull plug Thanks

You can use the Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller part # C51180 on a vehicle that has a 4-way but you'd need to convert it to a 7-way with the part # ETBC7L for it to function properly. Basically your 4-way would plug into the 4-way of the adapter and you'd then run the power wire of the adapter up to the vehicle battery and you'd be set.
