We currently have 2 adult bicycles and 2 child bicycles, would this be large enough to hold 3 or 4?

Expert Reply:
A cargo carrier such as the Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18113 is not designed for bikes, and there would be no way to stabilize them on the carrier, so it would not work as a way to transport them. For that you are going to need a 4-bike rack.
The most economical 4-bike rack is the Curt 4-Bike Rack # C18030.
This will do a fine job of getting your bikes from point A to point B on occasion. This is a hanging bike rack so for children's bikes or alternative-frame (step-through frame) bikes you will also need a bike frame adapter bar for each in order to give them a horizontal mounting point. The adapter bar is the Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar # HRBA-PRO.
I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
