What Are the Carr Mega Step Fold-Up Steps Made Of

Question:
Please confirm material the step of folding part is made of- aluminum or steel? Title says heavy duty aluminum but in description says steel. Have another sourced similar item which is cast steel and is HEAVY.

I was able to confirm with the product manager that all of Carr's products like this, including the # CARR190011B are in fact made with a heavy duty aluminum and not steel. The weight of these is about 8-lbs total, so they're not going to be too heavy to create an inconvenience during installation.
