Question:

Own a 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid. Interested in the Swagman XCT 2-bike Hitch Mount Bike rack platform style S64670, and need to install a hitch. Understand need to be very specific to fit the Accord Hybrid model. I believe the Draw-Tite Sportframe #24972 will work. Probably going to pay the dealer to install, just to make sure its done right. Does it sound like Im on the right track? will be making some long distance trips with two Trek bikes. So want secure, easy to use system. Thanks.

For your 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid you will need the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # 24972 for your trailer hitch receiver. This is the only confirmed fit we have for the hybrid model. Then you will need a class I rated bike rack and unfortunately the Swagman XTC # S64671 is not rated for class I use. Instead I recommend using the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HR200Z which is similar in style, has a raised shank for better ground clearance, and comes with locks to secure the rack and your bikes. I've attached some videos to assist.
