Recommended Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack for 2014 Mazda MX-5 Miata

There is one trailer hitch available that is confirmed to fit your 2014 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring as long as it does not have the Appearance Package. This is the Curt Class I Receiver Hitch # C11028. This Class I hitch features a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening and a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds. If you are just looking for a single bike rack, we do have a great option with the Thule T1 1-Bike Platform Rack # TH9041, which is Class I compatible and will fit the Curt hitch on your MX-5 Miata. This platform-style carrier will hold 1 bike of up to 65 pounds and features a ratcheting hook that will hold the bike securely by the front wheel and adjustable trays that slide front to back to optimize bike positioning.
