Question:

I am investigating my options between the electric Drain Master and the electric Valterra device. I understand Drain Master valves must be mounted in a vertical position or no more than a 30 degree angle. Is there an orientation requirement for Valterra can they be mounted horizontally 50 degrees? As I assume the orientation requirements has to do with water/moisture making contact with electrical components.

The Valterra EZ Valve Double Electric Waste Valves # E85-8 is essentially a manual system with an electrical function that moves the manual waste valve handle. This means that you basically just have to install it so that the handles won't make contact with anything under your RV. If you check out the attached installation instructions you can see the section about the valve installation.

To complete you're installation you'll also need the solvent # A05-0303.
